About Certificate Verification
Instant Verification

Get immediate results on certificate authenticity and validity status.

Validity Period

Certificates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.

Digital Signature

All certificates are digitally signed by authorized NSSF officials.

Tamper-Proof

Certificates cannot be forged or modified once issued.

Where to Find the Serial Number

The serial number is displayed prominently on a clearance certificate, and in the footer of a non-eligibility letter. It follows the format CLR-YYYY-XXXXXXXX for certificates and NEL-YYYY-XXXXXXXX for non-eligibility letters, where YYYY is the year of issue. Documents issued before 2026 carry a shorter 5-digit code and remain verifiable here.

Verification Results Will Show:
  • Certificate authenticity status (Valid/Invalid/Expired)
  • Employer name and NSSF number
  • Certificate issue and expiry dates
  • Number of employees at time of issuance
  • Digital signature verification status
Important: Always verify certificates before accepting them as proof of NSSF compliance. Expired certificates are not valid for official use.
